Birders interested in County birding in Kern, Tulare, and Kings Counties, California and rarities in neighboring counties. Notes on local programs of interest. Local County festivals, CBCs, and field trips are acceptable. Information on local birding locations that have updates to access are welcome.

This group was created after Yahoo closed but there was no way to adjudicate responsibility after Michael McQuerrey passed away and because our wonderful birding community needs active moderators that allow others into the group and keeps out spammers. This group will be moderated by several members of the birding community so in case anyone is unavailable, there will be others to take up the slack.
